The Anomoanon - Asleep Many Years In The Wood

Absolutely solid. While it may be formulaic country rock, it’s performed such laid-back élan that it’s impossible not to like.  Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy stops by to offer a perfectly delivered line at the crux of “One That Got Away”, and the title track seamlessly introduces tubular bells to the alt-country arsenal.
