North Texas State University Lab Band - Lab 78!

6.5 – USA – 1978

Big band jazz fusion from a school group. I guess they put one of these out every year. Miles Davis remasterer Bob Belden plays saxophone and has a couple of writing credits (knew I recognized that name from somewhere). It’s all pleasant enough, but not really remarkable. Only “Ethos/Pathos” rises (and only faintly, at that) above the level of background music.
